什么是WTI原油？它的历史价格走势高点和低点分别是多少？

WTI的全称为West Texas  Intermediate，中文翻译为：西得克萨斯轻质（或称中质）原油。英文里，WTI也常被称为Texas Light Sweet（德州轻甜原油）。这里的light（轻），指的是密度低；而sweet（甜），指的是该类原油含硫量低。WTI尤为适合提炼为汽油、柴油。它产于北美，是北美的原油定价基准（benchmark）。WTI产地分布于美国的多个州（包括德克萨斯州、北达科他州等），主要在中西部（Midwest）、墨西哥湾沿岸（Gulf Coast）区域进行提炼。WTI的主要交易枢纽是俄克拉荷马州的库欣（Cushing, Oklahoma），其也是原油合约的交割地点。

与WTI现货对应的期货品种是NYMEX: CL，堪称世界上流动性最好、交投最活跃的原油期货合约。WTI原油的交易最早可追溯至1946年，至今已有70多年历史。在其历史价格走势中，最高点出现于2008年6月，为160美元左右；最低点出现于1946年，为16美元左右。
